So I haven't wrote here in awhile and thought I should update alittle. I am currently attending Virginia College at night for my Associates in Science, Majoring in Medical Assisting. I had my first class last night. So this week begins a long journey for me. You see I went to a community college back home in MO for business right out of high school. But I became interested in 2 things. Cosmetology and Medical Assistant. So I did alot of research on both and thought Medical Assisting would be a good choice for me. So I am very excited to be going again. But thats one of many things I juggle these days. As most of you know, I have 3 daughters that keep me busy and a husband in the Navy. So I have to balance all that out. But I believe its gonna work. My hours I go to school work well with my hubbys work schedule. So when he gets home, I have dinner and homework done. And then we all eat and I kiss them all good bye and head off to school. I miss them like crazy, but I know that in the long run, its all gonna be well worth it. Plus its something I am doing for myself and my family. And also to better our future financially. I hope after I graduate to get a good paying job. One I like, but I guess you can't always assume you'll like what you do. Just one that I can do well and helps us financially.
So I guess I can do alittle update on my girls.
Christa- Well she likes 2nd Grade so far and is doing well. This is her first year playing soccer and she loves it. Shes good at it too. She loves to read and is always getting Junie B Jones books from the library and reading them to me. Homework every night is to read for 10 mins. I was shocked that already in second grade they are switching classes and teachers!! She amazes me everyday with what she learns in school and how she tries to teach her younger sisters the things she learns.
Madisyn- She started Pre-K this year and loves it! I was alittle skeptical about her teacher at first, but now I really believe she is wonderful and Maddi is learning alot. She brings home all these paintings and crafts they do. Also recently they have been sending home worksheets to do at home with them. Also one of her favorite things to do when we arrive at school is signing herself in. The teacher lays out a little notebook and all the kids line up and sign their name on it. I think its a good thing for them to do, so they learn how to write their own name. I also practice with both little ones at home on writing their names and letters. Maddi enjoys going and watching Christa play soccer. We are thinking about putting her in soccer next year. Maddi loves to dance around and be silly. She loves to sing and comes home from school singing songs she learns in school. She likes to be outside, ride her bike, and watch movies. She is very social and loves to be around people.
Alexa- Our Baby girl is home with me fulltime this year. We do alot of learning at home. She enjoys writing. She can already write a "A" for her name and we are working on the rest of her name. She is doing really well. She just turned 3 Sept 28th and I can't believe how smart she is. She is always trying to keep up with her 2 older sisters. She loves to sing and dance, do puzzles, ride her bike, and watch movies. She can be very shy around certain people, but when she is at home, shes a jabber box..lol
And Jeremy-- Well hes still working in the hydraulic shop. He became Petty Officer 2nd class this year (AM2). Other then work, he rebuilt the motor in our car, and has been working on rebuilting his S-10 for awhile. He wants to redo the whole truck. Also we are waiting to move over to the NAS JAX base. We are up for a new house over there in about 5-6 mths. So we will be closer to Jeremy's work and he won't have to drive 45 mins- 1 hr home.
Well I think that about sums up alot that has been going on. I will try to keep up on here when I can. =0)
