Silly Girls

Well these pics show how creative my girls can be, but also that the simplest things can keep them entertained.....lol They took our sprite soda box and Christa cut arm and head holes in them and my first thought then they came and showed me, was that they looked like Sponge Bob Squarepants..LOL Yes they watch the show. Its ok I guess.

We got my hubbys box of stuff from Africa!!!

Well I am sorry I am slacking on blogging here. Nothing really new has been going on. But to our surprise my hubbys box came today. He sent us all kinds of neat things from Africa. One of the maracas were busted when I got the box =( but its ok. Everything he sent was so neat. The girls really got a kick out of the stuff he sent them. Also I am proud to announce Christa finally lost her first tooth.....but...she lost it at school before she even realized it fell out. So she was so proud to tell me after school, but was alittle upset because she didn't have the tooth to put under her pillow. So I told her that the tooth fairy knows when you loose a tooth whether you have it to give to him or not. So she expects the tooth fairy to still leave her alittle something tonight. Well I've caught my hubby online twice now and we spoke through emails for a bit and he had to go. It was nice tho. We've been having trouble putting mins on his phone card tho.We're trying to figure it out. Jeremy is doing good he says. By all the pics and videos he sent, I often wonder what its like to actually be there in person to see all that.

Update on us

Well Christa has finally got out of her sickness, but definitely hasn't got rid of the attitude. But what can you expect out of the 6 yr old. She getting older and I have to accept that. Well lets see. I took the girls to decorate pumpkins Wed at the Community Center. They had fun. Ok so to update on everyone.....

Christa- Well shes doing real well in school. She really misses Nana since she was here a week and had to leave us to go back to MO. Shes a Nana's girl. Christa has been a really good help around the house. Especially when it comes to her sisters. Well thats if they aren't naggin her..lol Shes became our family little artist and she says that what she wants to be when she grows up. A Artist. Its finny cause when I was little I remember wanting to be a artist, mommy, and cheerleader. Well I got the Cheerleader and Mommy parts, so maybe she will get to be the Famous Artist. LOL

Madisyn- She is my little smartie pants..Shes learn to talk back, but I am working on getting that past us, so we do time out....lol She the typical 3 yr old. Annory and on the go. She loves Dora and Sponge Bob Square pants. HAHA My mom couldn't believe they like watching Sponge Bob, but they watch it alot. Maddi loves to draw and play with play-doh. Shes my big girl at home when Christa is at school. We have been going over ABC's and numbers, colors, and shapes. She loves drawing circles. She loves to cuddle with me and since Daddy is gone, its usually me, Maddi and Alexa in my bed. Maddi likes to play with their play kitchen and loves to sing.

Alexa.- Wow, well my baby girl is 2 years old now. I can't believe it. Shes grown to much this past year. She is talking more and is still known for her silly faces. She cracks me up. I know if I am in a bad mood, she can always make me smile. Shes full of energy. She love to dance and sing. Sometimes at night she hmms herself to sleep and its the sweetest thing. She is very lovable and love to cuddle with me. I been teaching her "please" and "thank you". Shes doing good with it. She likes to try and do what her big sisters do. I introduced the potty to her and shes went once or twice, but I have yet to get strict with her. I will do soon.

I am teaching all the girls at night when we say prayers the sign of the cross. We say prayers when we tuck Christa in bed and I let them say who or what they want to pray for. We talk about it and then do the sign of the cross again. I want them to know things about god, since I learned alot from going to the Catholic School. We had Religion as a normal class everyday. So we learn ALOT about God.

Jeremy- Well he says hes doing ok out on the ship. They visited Africa and the pics he sent me are amazing!! Hes became quite the photographer..LOL He says they have to get alot of shots out there to build up their ammune system and hes not too thrilled about that. He hates needles. But he said he got us a few things from Africa and sent them on there way. We have yet to get them. Hes been working on Rotor heads on H-60 helicopters. He has recieved one of 2 of my care packages. I recently sent off a Halloween one and have a Anniversary one ready to be mailed tomorrow. Our Anniversary is Nov 10th. Its gonna be sad not having him here, but I sent him a surprise, so I hope he likes it.


Me- Well I am doing better. That first week after Jeremy left and our ceiling fell in, I was really stressed. The housing people just were in no hurry to get things done and some people would think staying in a hotel would be nice, but with 3 kids, its was alittle stressful. The girls were good tho. I recently went to the doc for back pain and tenderous in my stomach. They think that I may have a herina now. But I seen a really good doc this time, so she is sending me to NAS JAX and put in a plastic surgoen concult. So maybe these military docs will believe me now that I really need to get my stomach muscles repaired. Its painful and all tho I may never complain about it, I try to stay strong and take the pain. But after awhile it just gets to me. Anyhow, I am just really missing my hubby. I have done a good job keeping the household running and bills in order. The nights are rough for me. When the girls are sleeping, I really wish Jeremy was there to cuddle with me. =( But my little ones come in and sleep with me normally, so They help my loneliness.

Christa is better

Well after only a few days of taking meds, Christa is back to her old self again. She hasn't had fever since Friday. SO WOO HOO! I hope the sickness stays away. Well the girls took it better then I thought they would, when we took Nana back to the airport. Christa told my mom, that she wasn't gonna cry, but she will miss her...Awww..and she did cry alittle. We found our way home this time, so I was happy about that. Mom said she had a good flight home. So me and the girls started our weekend, trying to get back in to routine. We went to the park today and I got some videoes and pics of the girls and got a video of them in the bath. I am making Jeremy a whole Dvd of videos of us here at home. I want home to feel like hes still part of whats going on in our family. Plus I am making a disk of his favorite movies and sending that to him. I am in the process of getting stuff for a anniversary package to send to him. I got some pretty good ideas. I am started my Christmas shopping and I am happy, and will be continuing to do so every pay check. We are getting a new Christmas tree this year also. Also we got the final touch on Christa's Halloween costume to be Hannah Montana. Shes gonna be the coolest Hannah Montana around...lol Well last night I sat with the girls and watched Halloween 1,2,3 and I have to say they are some really cute Halloween disney movies. The girls liked it. Well now we start another week. Oh yeah and Jeremy called last Friday and it was soo soo nice to hear from him again. We miss him and Alexa has been asking for him alot more now, since my mom left. I am staying strong for the girls. Always telling them hes on a ship, doing his job and he will be back with us soon. Its a hard thing to do, when they are looking you in your eyes and saying ? "Wheres Dada?" and looking for answers. It breaks my heart that he can't be here with us, but we are proud of him and know that he will be back soon. Well I pray that the rest of the year goes good for us. We survived a month and almost a half of another one. We can do it!

Christa is sick =(

Well it started yesterday. She woke up saying her head hurt and felt really warm. So I checked her temp and it was 101.7, so I gave her Tylenol and she took naps off and on all day. We had plans to get our pics taken at Sears at 5pm and was gonna leave it up to how Christa was feeling. So she woke up about 2:30pm and she was still running fever and I went ahead and canceled our pics. She just looked like she wasn't feeling good. Poor thing! I really felt bad for her. So I ran and got a few things at the store and me and mom made her home made veggie stew soup and I got Christa chicken soup to eat. So we all ate and watched tv most of the evening Yesterday. I gave Christa Motrin before she went to bed. Cause they say to rotate tylenol and motrin when they have fever. So this morning, she woke up with a fever of 102.7, so I already had a doc appt set up for her for 11:40am, so I called to see if they had a earlier one, cause she was complaining about her head really hurting. They didn't have one, so she slept most of the morning and then just me and her went to the doc, while my mom watched the little ones. Well the doc, looked at everything on her and when they got to her throat, he showed me that her tonsils were swollen. So I thought that it was weird, cause she never complained about her throat hurting or anything. So he said she had tonsillitus and then did a strep test just to see if she had that too. So we went to take the test to lab and then to get her prescription and while waiting, I remembered I had to get a doc note for her to take to school, so we went back to the doc and thats when they told me the strep test was positive. So they gave me a note for her to take to school and we were on our way, I gave her the amoxicillian in the car on the way home. Got home, gave her some more tylenol and she slept, woke up and didn't have a fever and was totally herself again. So we decided to go out check out that Chinese/Japinese buffet on Mayport road, I wasn't impressed at all! Then we took the girls bowling on base. Christa had so much fun and never complained about pain or anything, so I hope that means its a start of this infection goes away. I really just hope, me and the girls don't get it too. We've made it one month through this deployment and it was a rough one, but we survived. So anyhow, its time for my mom to go back to Missouri tomorrrow, so I will be taking her to the airport tomorrow morning. The girls are really gonna take it hard I think. They love their Nana. So I just hope its not too rough on them, cause her being here, has been a big help to me, but they just love the attention they get from her. So anyhow, I will update on Christa tomorrow. Night!

I got a Queen bed!

Yeah well a friend was selling it for like $75. It was for the mattress, box springs, and frame. So I couldn't pass it up. But then she called and asked if we would trade our full size bed for it and only $20 bucks, so I was like heck yeah. So it sits lower then our full did. But its nice and it was taken care of. It was their little girls bed. Its so much nicer to have more room in bed now...lol I don't think we will ever go back to a full again. I wrote Jeremy about it and he was excited too. So anyhow, Jeremy finally got my first care package and they have been to their first port and left. He wrote and said that he got me and the girls something. And I was like cool. He said he wanted to get me these tanzinite earrings, but he wouldn't have been able to get anything else for the girls. So altho I love tanznite, I told him to not worry about it, cause I rathar him get something small for all of us, then just something big for me. But he says I am in for a big surprise for our anniversary, cause he knows just what hes gonna get for me...So I guess we will see.
Today Mom and us went down to the beach to get some good pics for Jeremy. They turned out soo good. Me and the girls had in white shirts and jeans. I hope he likes them. Oh and also I mailed off my broke camera and Jeremy's Halloween care package today. Hes got lots of goodies and he wanted me to send his thermal and thin long sleeve shirt. So we'll see how long it takes to get to him now. Now I gotta think of some fun and kinky ideas for a Anniversary package. I have some ideas, plus, I think I am gonna combine Anniversary and Christmas. Maybe 2 packages in Nov, so he will get somethings for Christmas. Well thats all I have today.

Its been awhile

Well lets see where do I begin...Well lets see finally this drama between some friends has somewhat ended. It was a waste of time and over the littlest thing, you would not believe. But I decided that I am friends with everyone. But that doesn't mean I trust everyone. So thats that! Well Jeremy called Thursday night. It was 9:30pm our time and 3 something in the morning there. I was so glad to hear his voice, but that echoing, really got on my nerves. If your a military wife, you know what I mean. Well we talked about some stuff, he got to say hi to the girls and said that he missed us and it was good to hear our voice too. Hes been doing alot of sleeping and just now started playing games on his laptop. Which shocked me cause my hubby is all about video or computer games. He says that him and one of his friends been watching the show "Lost" and now started watching OZ. He said he is gonna burn that one for me, so me and him can watch when he gets home, cause he said I would like it, cause its like a soap...lol Anyhow we talked like 10 mins and said our sad good byes. It really hit me after we got off the phone this time. Like its finally kicking in that hes gonna be away a long time. I had tears in my eyes and then continue rocking my girls to sleep. Then I got some emails from him. They were pictures and he told me we talked for like 10 mins and it cost $12...OMG! Wow expensive calls I'd say! So hes gonna call on the 10th again. Anyhow he is doing good out there and I believe they are getting closer to port, but not for sure. He still hasn't gotten my care package, but they just helo'd a load of mail on, so he may get it this week sometime. WE miss him so much =(
Anyhow, on a happier note my mom flew in This saturday. Well I made it to the airport to pick her up, but we totally got lost coming home. I laugh about it now, but we ended up going towards Brunswick one time, then downtown, it was CRAZY! I had never gotten so lost in my life. But some roads that I normally took were closed, so thats my excuse..LOL, we made it to base, got Mc Donalds and went home to eat. The girls love having thier Nana around. They know they get spoiled. So the first night was good. Well today we got up and went to CHURCH (Yes I said Church Christy. lol) came home and changed and then we were off to take the girls to Chucky Cheese. We all had a GREAT time! The girls actually ended up with 234 tickets!! So they all got to pick out a few things to get. Then we left and went shopping. I got some goodies to add to Jeremy's Halloween care package and some things I needed around the house. Like a thermometer. I had a good one and somehow it diappeared. Anyhow, we then came home.
I forgot to mention that before we went o Chucky Cheeses, my mom used this new contact cleanser on contacts and ttried putting one in, only for it to burn and she struggled getting it out. I was gonna help her, but she got it out and now its been red,irriatated, and swollen all day. She said she bought a good brand, but it was the traveler size. So it irritated her all day, but she didn't let that stop her from keeping up with me and her grand daughters. Anyhow, I made us dinner and the girls played with their new play doh mom got them and then we watched the Halloween Movie on the disney channel, called "Twitched". It was a good movie, but I had to cut it off at 10pm, cause THE NEW EPOSIDE OF ARMY WIVES CAME ON TONIGHT! I was so excited. I love that show. So does my mom, but her eye was bothering her and she fell asleep with the girls on the couch before it came on. So its just me up now. Well I think I wrote alot and now I need to go get some rest before another day with mom and the girls.

Oh and I can't forget. Yes my ceiling inside my house is fixed, but they are STILL working on my roof. The guy that has been working on it, is a very nice guy and I feel bad that hes the only one up there and noone has come to help. But its getting done. I was also told that there was ALOT of rotten spots up there that they repaired, so thank goodness they checked more then just the spot that leaked. Anyhow, my dishwasher has been leaking and Alexa's bedroom light has a short in it. We got that fixed on Sat and they are coming to bring me a brand new dishwasher tomorrow. Also Alexa's has been braking out with this rash on her arms. Its tiny bumps and she has itched some to where they bleed, so I got some medication for it, but I am calling the doc tomorrow. I don't know for sure, but I am concerned that its my couch. Cause well we all know that instelation and fiber glass is itchy. Well I reached my hand down in one side of my couch and guess what, I pulled out some ceiling. THE CLEANING PEOPLE DID A HORRIBLE JOB! So I wrote in a complaint about it and I have yet to hear back. Anyhow, I will update on Alexa when I find out something.
